Rule #1. It’s always a sausage convention (i.e. 85 percent-plus male). 
Rule #2. Any hot gal who really wants to meet you is probably a guy. 
Rule #3. 85 percent-plus of the real (i.e. non-”bot”) women in there are gruesomely ugly and/or overweight. 
(Guys, guys … hot women have no trouble attracting male attention, and they certainly don’t need to go into Internet chatrooms to get laid, OK?) 
Rule #4. (This one’s for the ladies) For the most part, the guys in there ain’t exactly heartthrob material, either. 
Rule #5. The men in there are always all about how they’re looking to get laid; the women in there are always all about how they’re NOT looking to get laid — now THAT’S some real compatibility, eh? 
Rule #6. If it’s a woman from a non-English-speaking country, don’t even kid yourself, pal: she’s out to scam your money with some preposterous sob story. 
N.B. – Oh … and all you ladies who hang in the chatrooms and consider yourselves gorgeous — before you get all huffy, kindly note that I DID say “85 percent-plus.” Somehow, you always seem to miss that part. Every rule has its exceptions, of course, and generally they only serve to prove the rule.
